Narrative
Eva (Odessa Young), a 19th-century widow, is faced with an impossible choice when a ship sinks off the coast of her remote fishing village in the middle of a particularly harsh winter. Eva and her crew must decide whether to save the lost or survive the winter on their last meal. The villagers face the consequences of their decision and are tormented by guilt. They struggle with a growing sense of fear and begin to believe that they are all being punished for their decisions.
