The episode takes place after the events of the game.. This is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen, the 40k episode is the pinnacle of fantasy.
Anyone who thinks the show is bad either hasn’t played any of the games here, or knows anything about the IP, or is just being picky and finding fault
I’ve never felt more blessed by the holy light of the emperors than I did watching that first series of battles 39 times, so I’m glad to see my favorite franchise finally get a big-budget, quality adaptation on a show. I’m not a huge fan of any of the other episodes, but I can also admit that they’re really well made and you can tell a lot of thought and care went into them.
