International saiga day
Every year in the first week of May, the International Day of the Saiga is widely celebrated. In Uzbekistan, this date is celebrated on May 5. In connection with this date, the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Navoi Region celebrated on a large scale. As we have been reporting, preventive talks and meetings are being held at the faculties by the employees of the Department of Management of the «Compliance-control» system of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute for Combating Corruption. Psychologist Dilfuza Abduraimova of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute held a psychological training session with students of the Faculty of Preschool and Elementary Education called «The Struggle to Live on a Deserted Island» at Lake «Yoshlik», and a psychological interview with students of the Faculty of History as part of the event «Drug addiction and its harmful consequences» was carried out. SEEDLINGS PLANTED WITH GOOD INTENTIONS
Today, environmental problems have become a global topic of many countries. This calls the world community to protect mother nature. Following the active initiative of the head of our state in this direction, the nationwide project «Green Space» is being implemented in our country. Based on this project, it is planned to plant 200 million tree and shrub seedlings in Uzbekistan every year. Also, it can be observed that the «Green Space» project has become a nationwide movement and is currently being manifested as a unique value. Within the framework of the «Green Space» project, ornamental seedlings were planted and a «Green Community Park» was established in the territory of the «Janubiy» neighborhood assembly in Navoi city with the participation of NavDPI student youth, neighborhood activists and intellectuals.
